Our design
Our design is a pair of lamps. The main lamp can be placed in the bedroom next to the bed. It provides the room with a warm golden light, bathing both the users and surroundings in a beautifying soft glow. In addition, it has a digital light setting that resembles the light from a flame as a replacement for the traditional romantic atmosphere with candlelight or a soft fire in the fireplace.
Our inspiration
Elderly people are often not seen as individuals with a sexuality. Most people don't want to think of their parents or grandparents this way. However, enquiries shows that many elderly people are sexually active (even when living in nursing homes). We want to break the taboo and help elderly people obtain sensual privacy.
Our ambition is to create a light environment where they can feel beautiful, sensual and enjoy their sexuality and help them signal that they need a room on their own without having to say it with words.
Design is something that has always fascinated me. However, there is something very special about furniture. I love the creative process where you get an idea and bring it to life through a product. - and therefore I have chosen to study furniture design. Camilla Randrup Sejr
The second smaller lamp is a signal lamp that can be placed hanging or standing in the entrance hall connected to the main lamp. When this sensual light is turned on in the adjoining room, the signal lamp automatically turns on and informs about the need for privacy.
Furniture design can be a good combination of crafts, creativity and functionality. I have both a practical and artistic side, and to me, it is a dream job working every day to find new solutions and ideas that all have the same goal: Good design harmoniously combining form and function.
